What are your views on the general principles of the Bill and the need for legislation to deliver the Welsh Government’s stated policy objective (to make the Senedd a more effective legislature by ensuring it is broadly representative of the gender make-up of the population)?

On the whole the Welsh government seems to do a good job of promoting the balance of sex representation compared to other countries. A change is not needed. Continue the way things are

What are your views on the system of enforcement and potential sanctions for non-compliance proposed in the Bill?

It is ridiculous to suggest that a person make a statement to say whether they are a woman or not. All human beings are male or female.  Women are oppressed on the basis of their sex. Gender is a made up concept. Women will become more oppressed and excluded if you follow this course of action.

Are there any potential barriers to the implementation of the Bill’s provisions? If so, what are they, and are they adequately taken into account in the Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Memorandum and Regulatory Impact Assessment?

This is clearly going to conflict with any legislation supporting women’s rights. As usual men can do whatever they like to kee women in their place

Are any unintended consequences likely to arise from the Bill?

It appears that the intention of the bill is so that anyone can declare they are a woman so that they can get preferential treatment in selection. Also to keep women (females - should not need saying) where men think they belong, behind men (yes, this mean ‘transwomen’)

What are your views on the Welsh Government’s assessment of the financial and other impacts of the Bill?

This will bring the Welsh government in conflict with the uk government for no necessary reason and will therefore cost taxpayers money and waste parliamentary time

What are your views on the balance between the information contained on the face of the Bill and what is left to subordinate legislation? Are the powers for Welsh Ministers to make subordinate legislation appropriate?

Do you have any views on matters relating to the legislative competence of the Senedd including compatibility with the European Convention on Human Rights?

Do you have any views on matters related to the quality of the legislation, or to the constitutional or other implications of the Bill?

The governments of UK and Wales need to define what a woman is before letting people randomly declare that they are one. Your use of woman has become meaningless

Are there any other issues that you would like to raise about the Bill and the accompanying Explanatory Memorandum or any related matters?

Woman = adult human female. Why are women and not men being targeted to reduce their rights?

Anything else?

This is self ID and should be opposed by anyone who cares about women’s rights
